Yowie Lager Beer

King Valley Brewery required branding for a new craft beer 'Yowie Lager'. A Yowie is a creature of Australian folklore and is also a character from Aboriginal storytelling. While researching the history of the mythical Yowie in Australia, many old clippings from newspapers were found, detailing sightings of this mysterious creature. The die-cut label design was developed to simulate vintage posters and torn out news clippings. The label also features gold foiling and is complete with newspaper style typography.
